The kid flinched at the touch, dropped the coffee cup he'd been holding; but didn't back away. This was a little to close for comfort. He could already feel every bone in his body threatening to tense, ready to fight if he had to. His hands clenched into tight fists, until he heard his name and looked up. The touch was familiar and not threatening so he tried not to fight it. It wasn't thatAnything</i>, and that would be his last.
He couldn't see it anymore. Any sign of that coldness he felt before and it wasn't long before the anger on his face finally started to melt away. "...Dad?" Being Batman for so long had given him a suspicious nature, he knew it did, he tried to just accept what was happening but, he couldn't help but wonder if he was going into this to fast. If it was going to be another disappointment. He didn't think he could handle another one.
Terry didn't know how to react. There were so many questions swimming through his head, and he didn't know how to separate any one of them. At the least he was confused, and it was showing in his blue eyes. He wanted to say something, anything..but he couldn't figure out what to say. Terry was actually frozen as he stood there. It was horrible not knowing what to say or what to do. It made him feel sick. Bruce wasn't like that other one, but what did they really know about those other ones?
