"They're not so bad," she countered. "Had worse in my time. I don't need the quick fix every time I'm hurt Sam, world don't work like that." The fact was she didn't totally know if either Claire really could donate too much blood without it causing some effect. What if others were coming back more injured? What if donating blood made the Claire's more vulnerable? Faith wasn't exactly one to complain when her life was on the line, but this wasn't like that. It was just bruises and they'd heal on their own.
"I know," she murmured before glancing around. The truth was she'd forgotten she was even on the floor. She eased herself up, leaning against him because of a need for comfort more than needing stability, before making her way to the bed and sitting down, waiting for him to sit next to her.
"You don't want the details," she half laughed tiredly. "I'm back, can't that just be the main thing?"
