If he could give her that, that promise that no matter what, he would never truly hate her, never turn away from her she could go about all this with a clear concience, because she needed Sam, she wasn't sure when it had happened, when he and Castiel had found their way into her world and stayed there but it had happened, and now, when everything happened, when she brought her father back, she needed to at least have a basis to make them understand.
