For the first time ever, Sam found himself wishing that he could bleed her dry. He'd take all of her blood for himself and leave her with nothing to function off of. He was angry, he was frustrated, he was desperate. It was far from a pleasant combination.
He did take a lot more than usual. But physically, he was far from capable of drinking all that blood on his own. His breathing was heavy against her skin, satisfied groans following him easily as he sucked at the wound. When he finished, Sam pried his mouth away from her arm. It seemed as though he was aiming for the silent route. At least it did until he grabbed Ruby by the shoulders and pushed them both to their feet. Roughly, he slammed her against the tree that they'd been crouched under.
Sam glared for a long moment. Anger had guided his actions. It was all that he had wanted to do ever since she had let those son of a bitches take her away from him. Pin her down, make her hurt. He was considering his options on the matter, but after a long moment he fell back and released her.
This wasn't her fault.
Sam turned his back to Ruby and muttered an apology under his breath.
