"That demon is you," Sam pointed out. "And she remembers her humanity better than any demon that I've ever met." Sam folded his arms over his chest and looked her over. She was arguing against herself? Well, Sam couldn't exactly fault her for that, could he? He had once been the king of the parade that led those inquiries himself. It had taken time for him to accept it all and it seemed very much like it would require the same for her to properly understand how things truly were with Ruby. Herself. Both.
Sam dropped down into the indicated seat, hands reaching forward, clasping together loosely in his lap. "I was curious," he admitted. About a lot of things. "Meeting you, as a human, it's...well, let's just say it's not something I ever thought I'd get a chance to do." Sam nodded to the side, gesturing toward a seat himself. "You should sit too."
He was doing oddly well for someone who was visiting the human version of the demon that he knew. Not to mention the way he was feeling, all torn in so many ways. He was hoping, in a tiny way, that by being here and talking to this Ruby, he'd find some of the answers that he had been looking for. Maybe she was key to this entire situation.
