His hold on her vanished as he dropped the stake onto the pavement and screwed his eyes shut. Had he been serious? What had he been thinking? Trying to kill her? It would screw up his chances of getting Faith back, not to mention the fact that she looked exactly like her. Peering into those brown eyes while bearing a stake to her heart had been unbelievably horrifying.
Sam had killed Faith once. He wouldn't be the one to do it again.
"Get out of here," Sam said gruffly, covering his eyes with a hand. "Now."
