Riddick held perfectly still when she moved her hand in front of his face, grinning at her question. "I'm not blind, lady," he assured her, tossing her a wink. "And I never said anything about hunting vampires, either. They just didn't know who they were fucking with."
His gaze went skyward as a creature similar to the one he'd killed upon first arriving in Los Angeles flew by overhead. The thing had been stalking him, as of late. Wherever he went, it was soon to follow. Most likely the mate of the one he'd taken out, waiting for a prime moment to attack. With a squawk of rage it continued onward. Apparently, this wasn't the moment it was looking for.
Once it was gone, he looked back to Sarah with another smirk. "You got some sand in your hair," he commented with a tip of his head before heading past her, following the path that led down to the beach. He assumed, of course, that she would follow. After all, he'd yet to explain his eyes and Riddick had a feeling there wasn't much this girl would let slide by without her first knowing all she could know about it.
