Technically, the person who had snuck on him would have been an enemy, if not for the blonde who flew out from the shadows and knocked the thing to the ground. At the snarl from the creature, and tiny female tossed backwards, she leapt to her feet again after hitting the ground, a knife in hand. One hand was lifted a second later, and she smiled sweetly and motioned for the thing to come forward. It was already a well known fact that there was a new vampire hunter in town, one who was as deadly as the knives she carried. One knick, and once the knife hit the blood, the poison spread. Slowly, painfully until it ate the vampires from the inside out...and they rotted like corpses.
As the vampire lunged for her again, she stepped to the side fluidly and brought her knee up at the same second, slamming it into his gut and brought her knife up and into the heart, twisting to destroy it, and stepped away from the body as it burst into dust. She turned her head to look at the man as she wiped her knife off on her jeans. "Sometimes, those that sneak up on you are looking for trouble, sugar. Not that I'm one of those...but trouble seems to find me."
She slipped out of her jacket and shook the sand off of it, and then slid back into it, shifting from one foot to the other to test to see if she had sand in anything else. And then she smiled, good. She didn't. Her footsteps were quiet as death, as they had always been, even with the slight crunch of sand. Finally, however, she slid her knife back into its proper place and ran her hand back through her hair, testing to see if there was anything bleeding. Nothing as far as she could tell, she'd hit her head a little harder than she'd thought at first. Then she shrugged.
