The worst part was, Kal was right. It actually hurt him to try and hit him. Punching Kal without the shard was like hitting a brick wall. "Lets play a new game, called catch me if you can." He knew he had to get out of there, Kal was backing him against a wall, the closer he came the further back Terry went.
Kal seemed like the sort who enjoyed games. "You don't deserve that power." He taunted as he thumbed for his grappling hook and unlached it from his waist. God he missed technology. If he still had his suit he could have used the rocket launchers and gotten the hell out of there-hell he wouldn't be trapped like that in the first place if he still had that suit! Terry threw and hooked the grappling above him at the top of the ally. He pulled a red and black batterang from the underside of his opposite glove where the shard had been, and threw it at Kal. This wasn't just any batterang, this one was special. Totally clashed with his black and blue color scheme, but did the job. It was thrown at Kal, and unleashed electricity-he knew it probably wouldn't last too long but it did make a good distraction.
The second the bright light blinded his eyes, Terry was up and over the roof. Back onto the street. He spotted the small shard and carefully, quickly bent down to pick it up again.
