Kal hadn't realized that superheroes loaned costumes out. He certainly wouldn't. But then, he was not a superhero. He could have been the best of them.. but things happened differently.
He grinned as he saw Terry land. Time to teach him a lesson. As he walked over the street, he nearly staggered, wincing. He didn't understand why he felt so queasy. But he kept walking. And by the time he was on the other sidewalk, he felt a little better.
Grabbing Terry by the chest form of his garment, the fabric in his fist, he held him up with his feet above the ground. "Someone should have warned you not to fuck with me, Terrence." And then he made a tossing motion, let him go. He watched the young man fly over the store, landing in the alley behind it. It was only a dark blur, and a microsecond later, that Kal was standing right there looking down at him.
