"There has to be some reason to it if the firm requires signatures on important documents in it." He remembered the number of times he'd had to prick the pads of his fingers, once or twice accidently getting blood on his shirt or other papers because he forgot about it. It was just normal procedure.
"If you bleed more than the other guy, it's a sign you're losing," he murmured quietly. "I've bled plenty. It's just the price that comes with not backing down." And something that didn't phase him all that much anymore.
