Her reaction to the nickname earned a mental note not to use that one again. "That she is." Her expression set him off laughing again. "You started it. I was just finishing it," he replied before taking a swig of beer.
"You are not setting me up." Eliot looked at the glass in front of her, wondering if now would be a good time to take it away from her. Of course, she could easily take it back. "If I wanted a relationship, I'd be in one." He'd escaped blind dates so far. He wasn't about to go on one now. "Wasn't that kind of stall action. We were thirteen and she was pinning me until I apologized."
