Anya looked up, with a trace of concern. She could see the hints of strain on her friend's face. Sarah worked herself far too hard in Anya's opinion. True, they were all under stress, especially lately, what with having to cover multiple patrols with minimal people, but Anya suspected Sarah took on more than she really should. She offered a friendly smile, the worry clear in her eyes. Sarah was one of the people she actually liked the best in this city and she didn't want her collapsing or anything.
"Turning her into a goblin could be fun," she smirked at the idea, thoroughly approving of the concept. It wasn't dissimilar to some of her better wish granting.
"We need to figure out why she has so much control over the boy," she stated firmly, focusing on the task at hand. "Most obvious answer to rule out first is mind control or magic. After that it becomes a psychology thing and that just gets complicated." Her resolution faltered slightly.
"I don't like him. Or the rest of his family very much if I'm honest. But Faith likes them and other people seem to and I think it would be better for him to be with her and his family, not Ruby. He's even more racist when he's with the demon and shall we all just take a moment to admire the hypocrisy of that? It makes me wonder how he'd react if he considered any of us real threats. With Ruby in his ear encouraging him like a demented fangirl."
She blinked as Buffy mentioned drinks. "That's a good idea actually. we could be a while."
