WHO: Ruby & Spike. WHAT: Looking for some help finding the boys. WHERE: Hyperion Lobby. WHEN: Night or Day, does it matter anymore? RATING: TBD. STATUS: In Progress.
So now that she knew as much about the big bad city and how everyone had gotten here, well mostly how she had gotten here. It didn’t seem like Lilith was a key player here, either, so that was good. Still, she hadn’t found the Winchesters yet, and actually she didn’t even know if they were here at all. And if they were here, they might not even know her since it seemed people came here from different times, so Ruby had to face that that was a possibility as well. And if they didn’t know her, she’d have one hell of a time explaining who she was.
There were other things to worry about, of course, such as the eternal darkness that seemed to be plaguing the city. Demons were out roaming free all the time; she should know…she was one. And she’d heard a lot about the Angel Investigations place too. Maybe they could help her find the boys; then again…it was supposedly run by a vampire. And a vampire might be able to tell that Ruby was not human. And then of course they probably didn’t believe in good demons here. Not that Ruby thought she was any kind of saint, of course.
She did not seem to be having much luck in finding Dean and Sam on her own. This was what made her decide to check out Angel Investigations. If they found her to be a threat, well…she had a few other tricks up her sleeve. She had her knife in its sheath on her pants, just in case. She didn’t want any surprises, and that really was her only protection, other than the fact that she herself was a demon. Still if there was a vampire with a soul, maybe a good demon wouldn’t be too farfetched to them.
If this didn’t work, she’d have to find the Winchester boys on her own. It was worth a shot though. So Ruby made her way into the lobby, looking around for anyone who could help her. She wasn’t exactly the most patient demon around, but then…when were demons known for their patience?
