Nodding, Sam turned and placed a hand on each side of the counter before leaning forward to discuss their order with the employee behind it. Once they seemed to meet some sort of conclusion, Sam forked over a handful of bills and snatched up the empty plastic cups that were slid across the counter. "Here," Sam offered Jack one of the cups before he shifted aside to fill his own with tea at the machines lined up along the side of the counter.
Once finished, Sam waited for Jack before directing them both to the nearest table. He flopped down on one side and stretched his long legs out. "You're really looking rough," Sam commented. Probably not the best thing to start up on, but it was true. "Have you been all right?"
