Sam pulled away from her and Ruby just for a second caught his darkening eyes, lucky really there was only one mirror in the place, she'd have to keep him distracted from it once this progressed a little more. But for now he wasn't noticing, and by then she was sure he wouldn't pay it any mind, wouldn't be thinking about mirrors, just her blood.
"Got beers, and there's water and horrible coffee"
For once though she didn't out and out ask him how he felt, she knew. She could see it, mingled disgust at what he'd done with the knowledge that it had to be this way. And that disgust would leave him. She knew it would.
She stood up, wrapping her arm in a cloth, they could reopen the wound she knew would close over annoyingly quickly. It didn't bother her to cut it open again, just reminded her of the Pit in a whole lot of ways. Walking across toward Sam she didn't actually go over to him, instad leaning against the sideboard watching. She could practicly feel it stirring inside him, power.
Power borne from what Azazel had done and what she had given him, a second family in a way, caring in a way he she was sure he'd never have understood, they had given him life as much as Mary and John. He with his first choosing of Sam as someone special and she in the last two years, giving him choices, guiding him, watching him grow into what he was becoming now.
"Its going to be okay" she said in an attempt to turn him from the mirror. "I'm here with you, every step of the way"
