Cordelia released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding when Zuko finally spoke. The sword at her side drooped slightly as her shoulders sagged in relief. She heard Katara let out a choked half-laugh before moving forward, closing the distance between herself and the firebender.
The Seer turned her attention to the door, sword coming up as she stood guard and gave them a moment. A good thing she did, too, because no sooner had she turned did a man step into the doorway.
"We have company," she announced, sword coming up in front of her as she narrowed her hazel eyes at the stranger.
Katara, who had just reached Zuko, quickly turned and stepped in front of him, her own eyes blazing with anger as she gazed upon the man. "I don't know who you are, but you're going to regret having done this," she stated in a voice that was as icy as the water of her homeland. There was no sympathy in her tone, no compassion. It was pure hatred and rage combined into one.
