Katara was the first through the door, not even pausing as the wave of water preceded her by mere nanoseconds. She could feel the cool mist of the liquid upon her face but didn't care. She had one goal in mind. Find Zuko.
Once inside the basement, she realized it wasn't very wide. It was, however, a little longer than she'd thought. There was a door at the far end of the room, however, with a large bolt attached to it. She just knew that's where Zuko was.
One glance at Cordelia told her that the Seer was in agreement. Their eyes met briefly and then they nodded, gazes turning to the basement in general for any signs of life. There wasn't anyone in sight, though.
Katara's legs were already carrying her to that door, arms held stiffly at her sides with water rushing up each forearm and back down to her wrists. Her blue eyes scanned the area - the light wasn't as good the further back you went - until she finally reached the door.
"Freeze the lock," Cordelia stated and Katara did just that. An instant later the hilt of Cordelia's sword met the frozen metal and it all but shattered. Clanging loudly to the floor, Katara kicked it out of the way as she yanked the door open.
"Zuko?" she questioned, voice soft as she stepped into the room. Her stomach churned; the only thing keeping her from being downright terrified was the woman standing beside her.
