Fred crossed her fingers and held them up. "Warding off the jinx," she proclaimed, although her scientific mind refused to take that as fact, but it felt a little better to have some kind of ward against it. Or at least it stayed quiet enough until they both got home safely.
"They are. A good quiet fun night. It's been a long time since I've had one of those. But then again, I think a night at home with a book and a good cup of tea is nice too."
