WHO: Red Arrow and Open WHAT: Patrol WHERE: Somewhere in the city WHEN: Anytime after sunset within a few days of Roy's arrival RATING: TBD. Violence towards NPCs, at least.
With Lian left in the care of a trustworthy ally, Roy finally felt comfortable getting to work in LA. With a whole lot of fresh new wooden arrows at his disposal, and some other recently-manufactured weapons within reach, he was pretty sure he was prepared for anything the city had to throw at him.
Now, if only it would throw something at him. He hated this part- the waiting game before springing into action, swinging around rooftops and searching for action. Well, at least the swinging part was fun.
It didn't take him too long to spot his first vampire- this one was really piling on the cliches, attacking a young woman and dragging her into an alley where a couple of his fanged buddies were waiting. He barely even had to try before dusting it with a well-aimed arrow from above, which certainly got the attention of the other two.
"C'mon guys, I was expecting more of a challenge. You have such a badass reputation to live up to- or unlive up to, I guess," he said, nocking another arrow quickly enough to demonstrate how he got his original codename. The dark space was momentarily lit up with the blinding white-hot flash of a magnesium-flare arrow, blinding his opponents just long enough for him to nock and fire two more wooden arrows aimed for their hearts. Poof!
He could totally get used to this. Now, where did that damsel in distress go? Probably better that she ran off... he thought to himself, only a little disappointed.
