kiddo? Well he supposed it was better than slick, or sport, or jr. So he'd take it. Infact it was almost..coming from her anyway-nice. Gave him a since of familiarity as much as he hated to admit it with the pilot. The fact that she had an affection for planes and wasn't afraid of technology helped too. Terry's whole career as Batman had been based on tech stuff. He was surprised Bruce hadn't embraced it like he expected-Batman was all about gadgets. But maybe it had been too soon. He'd just suddenly come into Bruce's life on the fly after all. Denying part of that was probably some type of comfort Terry couldn't figure out. As soon as he was inside there was coffee in his hands and he made a face. "This'll help?" Terry had chosen to grow up too quickly. He hadn't been ready for a hangover, and he sure as hell wasn't ready for coffee. That didn't stop him from taking a sip. "Thanks." Honestly he was surprised to be there at all, but in reality not so much. Batman was scary on the outside but Bruce Wayne was just...a man. A father. He was Terry's rock, no matter how he may bitch or moan about him. In the end he was family. They were family-a weird one, but one none the less..and those were only some of the thoughts that'd messed with him on his way to Zinda's apartment.
For a moment he was hesitant as they sat and he nibbled at a biscuit. It looked safe enough. "You made all this?" Terry cautiously tried to change the subject-though it didn't work for long.."The Joker.."He started, chewing his lip apprehensively. He'd never really talked about it. He glazed the subject with Babs and Bruce, maybe a third party would be good? If he could get over that fear he felt whenever the name was mentioned. "We were supposed to make sure he got to trial safely. I didn't want him to get there at all."
