Good riddance. Least he was partially rid of the annoying burden that he'd tossed up onto his shoulders. Honestly, Spike didn't need this bullshit in his life. He was supposed to be living wild and free and recklessly. That had been the plan. Spike certainly wasn't some enormous hero, he didn't have an almighty destiny to fulfill. He was just one vampire who wanted to live his life to the fullest. With beer. And sex. Lots and lots of sex. Now his plan was all screwed upside down and inside out. All because of Buffy. Why? WHY? Why did he do this to himself?
Spike tried to ease into a more comfortable position when Harmony threw her arms around him. Christ, he was going to need so much therapy after all of this was good and through. He did know a good demon for it...
"Lost and crazy, right," Spike chimed in, forcing another unbearable smile. "That'll not be happening again, love. It'll be you and me from here on out. Your Spikey is back and he's staying for good."
Slamming his head into the wall probably wasn't a good idea, was it?
