WHO: Roy and Lian, open to Bradbury residents WHERE: The Bradbury Building WHEN: Shortly after Bruce's graffiti post. WHAT: Roy and kidlet arrive
With a couple duffel bags full of necessities (clothes, toys and DVDs for Lian in one bag, his costume, collapsible bow and a quiver full of arrows and other supplies in the other) slung over each shoulder, Roy arrived at the Bradbury building, Lian in tow and still convinced that they were on "vacation." He was pretty sure he could keep that story going for a while.
"This is a lot nicer than that hotel, isn't it Princess?"
"The hotel had a pool. Is there a pool here, Daddy?" Like any child, Lian knew that the quality of any vacation lodgings could be judged solely on whether or not one could go swimming.
"I don't know sweetie. If not, we can always go to the beach, right?"
"The beach is polluted, Daddy. And pollution is going to cause the ice caps to melt, and all the polar bears will go away and the penguins will-"
Roy sighed. "Uncle Ollie let you watch that Inconvenient Truth movie didn't he? C'mon, let's find where we'll be staying here."
