"Considering the Senior Partners always had a hard on for Angel, it probably was something of an honored position," he admitted. Unlike being in Special Projects and expendable if it got them what they wanted. It was quite the way to inspire employees. Despite keeping a lid on his expressions, he smiled slightly at the mention of the plan that had almost one upped the souled vamp.
"I know there is. Bu deciding you want it and me actually granting it are two seperate things, aren't they?" He picked up another fry as he listened, tilting his head. "Hellfire, brimstone, and pain," he answered without missing a beat. "The afterlife package." And the only thing worse was being someone they considered a traitor.
Sometimes when he thought back, he could still feel...no, he wasn't going there.
Stifling a shudder, he popped the fry in his mouth. "I know a lot of things," he stated. "That's what makes me so scary."
He wasn't giving in and moving. If it was a stalemate, so be it. "We're two employees from opposing law firms, acting cordially. Feels about right."
