The idea of being able to take his hypocritical self out in the midst of the bigger plan was a definite bonus," he admitted, seeing no harm in revisiting what she already knew. The Senior Partners had been the focus of the main plan. The damn vampire who'd ignored what he'd said and gone to work for them was just collateral damage, as much as Lindsey couldn't stand him.
That and making him doubt his champion status by making Spike look good had been entertaining. He would've enjoyed seeing the look, watch the doubt take hold. He almost had, until Cordelia had stepped in.
