Jacen smiled slightly and bent his head to kiss her gently.
"I love you too. No matter what, I always did."
It was true. Perhaps too true as they both knew. But this wasn't the time to talk about that, not again. They'd talked some issues to death, while dancing around others. Even after everything, Jacen found it hard to regret what he did. He'd made some hard and painful choices, some which would haunt him for however long he had here. But if given the choice he'd make them all again, up to and including his death at the hands of his twin. He didn't relish it, and he wished he could change things, but he had always done what was necessary. All he could hope was that this city would be different and those same choices wouldn't be forced on him.
He kissed her again, slightly longer this time. "I always will," he insisted firmly.
