Who: Bruce and Terry
What: confliction and contradition.
When: Just before 4.
Where: the cave.
Warnings: They're bats. Angst abound.
Oracle wanted him to go with Bruce..He should have been thrilled. Bruce was going to trust him with something. So why was it completely opposite? Oh..maybe because everyone was pointing the finger blame and claiming not to at the same time. Maybe because the Joker had kept him locked up in some dingy hospital cell until he could feel his sanity literally slipping through his fingers. He said they weren't killers, and he meant it. So why did it even come into question? Why was it in the back of his mind to begin with? Terry finished zipping up the back of his suit and flexed his hand to fill out the gloves.
In no less than a few hours he was facing his greatest nightmare. He felt sick to the point of seeing double. He could have said no. Oracle gave him the option, he seriously weighed and considered it. What was he hoping to get out of this? Wouldn't it have just been easier to say no? Since when did Batman take the easy way out? If he said no the nightmares might not ever end. Terry closed his eyes and touched his hand to his head. His eyes closed and he could see the shadows of a whirling fan pass by his face. Hear the sadistic laughter like the clown was right infront of him. His brows furrowed under the stress of the reoccurring nightmare, and his throat felt dry. He thought it was behind him, that he'd moved on. He thought wrong wrong. It was all flooding back and he couldn't stop it.
