Buffy shrugged with a hopeful smile on her face. "We might as well go. It's gotta be better than standing here looking all wicked conspicuous. I don't want the Slayer-haters to show up and convict Faith or I for doing our jobs." Man, even though she had decided not to stake Harmony, she totally hated that stupid vampire. It was an ingenious plan. Only Harmony hadn't planned it, she was just...damn lucky.
Jared surprised her by being positive, even offering up a sly sort of smile. It occurred to her this was the first time she'd seen him smile. Which indicated this plan was definitely of the good. She was surprised by another thing - his almost flirting. She wasn't sure what that was. Just friendliness? Probably. "Of course - first dance goes to you," came her reply, another smile. "It'll keep Faith from trying to get me to go crazy on the dancefloor. She's so handsy," was her mock-complaint.
Since no one had issued a complaint, Buffy followed the directions and steered them in the right way. Soon they were outside of an old-looking warehouse. It was quiet on the outside. Bad neighborhood, to boot. "Uh, I think this is it."
She walked up to the only door and a large demon appeared. "Oh, hello - uh..." The flyer flapped haphazardly in her hand.
The demon looked over the group - didn't seem like civilians who had accidentally wandered here. He faintly recognized the two girls. A vampire was also with them. "Alright then." He nodded and indicated they should go inside.
Instead it was a loud, raucous environment. Not a club at all. At least not the kind she was expecting. "What is this place?"
