She took it back, she was okay with the holy water. He had warned her after all and the vampire looked ready to go back to screaming, but credit to her she seemed scared enough of Sam not to start yet. Ruby stood, manuvering her way around to Sam so she was behind him and the little silver bottle that would sting like a bitch if it got near her. But that didn't mean she wanted to be too far back. He'd be careful, methodical with the vampire, she knew he would be.
It wasn't bad what she was asking of him, it was what he wanted, just unlike the others Ruby let him indulge that side of himself, perhaps even encouraged it but it was nothing that wasn't already there, a part of him.
He needed it as well as the rest. That was the control he needed, the control he craved.
