Ruby did watch her, held her in a grip that she made unbreakable simply because he'd asked it of her, there was no way the bitch was getting free much as she tried, and begged, oh there was begging, The Vampire didn't know what was to come but she suspected correctly that it wasn't good.
Not for her anyway. Ruby'd probobly get a kick out of it. That look in Sam's eyes had told her as much, he was angry yes, but with a coldness to it that she loved watching. He had a plan for the vampire.
"You were just...there" she told her by way of conversation, no sense in being rude. "And bringing a baby into it, that sort of sealed it, he's like that, helping the innocent and all, and you don't get more innocent than that so really, you never stood a chance from the moment he spotted you, and now he's got something in mind for you, and you really won't enjoy it. It's going to hurt. Kinda hoping he's not involving holy water, that would suck, also I'd have to stand back and I want to watch him work."
When he called her she dragged the vampire up the stairs, eyes locked with Sam's pleased as she worked out just what he was planning, or at least the end result of what he was planning. Oh he was something special, he really was. How could Alastair have been so wrong about Sam, he wasn't weak, he was stronger than any human she'd ever known. And creative. Very creative.
The vampire was screaming now, begging and pleading that this was cruel, inhuman. She'd used the word inhuman. Ruby shrugged, letting her eyes cloud over just to further confuse the vampire as she dragged her kicking and screaming up to the attic.
