Ben nodded slowly in response to the first part -- definitely not his idea of an ideal situation, all this. He didn't volunteer anything, though. Mirta might know Jaina, but that didn't automatically make her someone he could open up to. Still, he didn't back away or tense up as she approached.
He didn't need to ask who she was talking about with the rest.
"Sort of. But he hasn't pushed it..." Ben paused. This didn't really mean anything, did it? Jacen was pretty good at manipulating people, and not pushing would be the first step. He shook his head. "I mean, it's a little weird, all the people who seem to trust him -- but I guess they haven't lived through what he's done. So even if they know, it doesn't make it ... real for them. That doesn't make it any less weird, but more ... understandable? I guess."
