His reaction was definitely seeming positive, giving Faith the confidence to keep going, running her fingers through his hair as she kept kissing his neck, wanting to see if she could make him draw another breath like that. Because, damn that was one hell of a turn on.
He was the first guy to ever make that clear to her and Faith paused in the kissing to give him a huge smile. Admittedly she'd taken a lot of security from her enhanced strength over the last ten years whenever she'd been with guys, but she felt safe with Sam. Trusted him to stop if she ever asked him to. Not that she thought she'd ask. Nope, definitely not on the agenda any time soon. Still, the fact he said it meant a lot to her.
"I will, I promise," she shifted closer on his lap, kissing him on the mouth again. "And you, you sure you want to do this?" She offered a wry smile. "We do this, everything's going to change and I don't know about you but I'm stone cold sober so we don't even have that excuse." She reached up to kiss his forehead. "So, if you wanna back out, now would be the time. I even promise no hard feelings and I'll still adore you."
She just also really hoped he wouldn't back out. Not when she was finally where she wanted to be and desperately wanting him.
