God it felt good to kiss him. To be in her room, kissing him, without the heat and the threat of imminent death hanging over their heads. A slight groan caught at the back of her throat as she just enjoyed kissing Sam.
"I could so get used to doing that," she murmured softly, looking up at him with a huge smile. On the other hand she wasn't sure she ever would, even hoped for it, hoped that every kiss would give her that happy giddy feeling.
"Oh yes, purely for sleeping purposes," she had to fight to keep the smile from lingering on her face as she tried to look serious and failed totally. "Completely innocent, nothing to see here." She gave in and let the smile happen, feeling remarkably light for someone who'd nearly died not too long before.
"You help," she stated firmly. "By being you and by putting up with me. You always do. It's one of the things I love about you."
