Sam nodded in understanding. He was glad that she was being honest with him about it all, if anything. Obviously she wasn't going to be fine right away. Going through something like that was never easy, especially when it had seemed so likely that the only way they both were going to leave that room at the time had been through the doorway to whatever lay beyond in the afterlife. Sam was personally determined to see to it that she recovered from this as best as she could. With his help. It had been that very thought that had crossed his mind when she spoke up again, voicing her thoughts on how he could help her.
"Oh really? Company?" He leaned forward a little, arms slipping around her as a look that was in a cross between excitement and uncertainty found him. He knew exactly what she was thinking about. Just as he knew that it was exactly what he wanted. Sam slid a hand up, pushing a bit of hair from Faith's face. Man, she looked good. Always looked good. The urge to kiss her wasn't something that he had been able to resist. Sam tilted her chin up with a hand and allowed his mouth to find hers for a lasting moment.
He had kissed her. They were ABLE to kiss each other. So weird. And yet so unbelievably amazing at the same time.
"Yes," he told her, drawing back with an even grin. "Definitely yes. For the sleeping purposes. And the helping. I wanna help."
