Jacen pulled out of her mind for a moment, back in the real world and stared at her with a smirk.
"You're lying. Really, did you think you could ever lie to a Jedi?"
They were alive, of that he was certain. He could feel it in her, the hesitance, the delaying. They were alive, but on limited time. He took a step back, standing up again to stretch out. If Azula got too mouthy he'd quite happily let John Winchester use the hose on the bitch.
"I was right though, wasn't I. No one loved you. Even as a child you were a monster. Even your own mother hated you." he laughed shortly, a harsh ugly sound. "Quite an achievement. Even I had to reach adulthood and burn a planet before my parents agreed to my death warrant."
He was playing it up, playing up the idea that it took a heartless monster to beat an insane one. The truth was he didn't often like to think of his parents both disowning him, agreeing to allow others to try to hunt him down. But this wasn't the time to think about it.
"I think maybe it's time we all cooled down a bit," he smirked again before glancing at John and that hose, his meaning clear in his eyes. "And then we can look at little deeper into how much your mother hated you and your brother, how you brought his betrayal on yourself. Tell me, were you proud when he learned your lessons so well and turned against you? We can go back and look if you want." His expression hardened. "Or you can tell me what I want to know."
