Ugh they were insuffrable. And Azula who barely believed in love anymore was done listening to it. It was pointless and just caused hurt. Love, trust, all of it. Pointless. Not to mention this was the little Slayer that had decided to make an enemy out of her.
"There are other ways to keep warm" she told them, sending a wall of blue flame up about 5 feet from the pair. She didn't want to hurt them, didn't want to kill them.
No, that was too easy.
"You people. I don't understand it, You know I can win. You know I'm simply stronger and yet you persisted in taunting me, Do you understand it?"
She turned to someone as she spoke, a pair of glinting yellow eyes in the dark as her lips curled into a cruel smile.
"Or perhaps they had a plan. Perhaps something was actually being done. Oh well. I never was one to hang around and wait."
She quashed the flames with a wave of her hand.
"I want them alive. Hurt isn't a problem for me."
Vampires poured into the alley. Twenty, maybe thirty in number, and Azula dropped into a defensive stance as they did her bidding.
