Despite the fact that Los Angeles had been chosen as the battleground for the war between the Powers That Be and the Senior Partners, had seen a major apocalypse, eternal midnight, the Silent Hill takeover, and had just been subjected (or maybe forced was the better word) into a sing-a-long, a majority of the city still retained their ability to deny the unnatural.
From the looks on a few faces, having an alien among them certainly wasn't helping. He even caught the expressions on a couple of faces that said brains were close to a metaphorical explosion if they couldn't come up with a logical explanation. It really wasn't all that funny but the smirk on his lips had nothing to do with amusement.
"I'll have to remember that," he replied and finally took that sip of coffee, which turned out to still be a little hot to do anything more than take a quick sip unless he wanted a burned tongue. He shrugged at Dukat's comment, looking back down at the controlled mess in front of him. "No more than usual."
