"Yeah..he's the champion here. " Thank god he knew now not to tell her about Angel-he nearly had. Jack slipped his phone away, and for a while he was just quiet. Letting her take it all in and try to make sense of it. It was alot he assumed, because it was alot for him too sometimes. And he was right in the middle of it. Had been for nearly a year-next month. Fighting up there with the slayers. Sometimes he barely even believed it was happening.
"In a nut shell." Was all he said and listened. Because he knew how it felt. It was like complete and total sensory over load. He could only imagine how she felt right then. Especially to learn that there was a Buffy before her. At least there hadn't been a Jack before him, or he would be exactly in her place too. Beside himself with confusion, and talking himself backwards. She almost reminded him of a teammate, Bridge..and the idea made him smirk to himself. "Most of us didn't. I thought I was done until I was sent here." Jack tried not to take it too personally, he gave her a half smile. "Giles was around for a while..but he got sent back, I think Willow did too. Xander is here. Well usually." He smirked at his own little joke. "Dawnie...yeah, I knew her. Good kid. She got sent home too. Not too long after you disappeared..The other you."
All the questions were a little overwhelming, he was doing his best to answer them but honestly it was getting difficult. "I'm taking you to them, they're at the Hyperion. " A tiny smirk spread over his features. "Yes. I am. I used to work for Angel Investigations. That's when I met you-the other you. " He corrected. "You-she...was kinda like a sister to me." They weren't too far from the Hyperion now, it was only a couple blocks away.
