Since arriving, Dana had hoped that the young Mr Wayne would have less of a need for Terry. After all, young Mr Wayne, as opposed to old Mr Wayne, was sprightly, fit, and to sum it up simply, young. Perhaps it was selfish of her to want him all to herself, but Dana didn't think it was at all crazy to want to be able to spend time with her boyfriend. Unfortunately, Terry had been kept just as busy as he had been in Gotham, but fortunately, Dana was well versed in the subject of having a boyfriend she rarely saw, which was precisely why Dana had been so pleasantly surprised when she received Terry's text whilst preparing herself for a sadly unsocial Friday evening. Despite the chance that she may be stood up again, her stomach got that queasiness that was both awful and wonderful at the same time.
Since he didn't say where she was meting him, Dana mulled over what to wear, pacing back and forth in between several different outfits, debating whether or not it would be too formal or too casual. It was probably fortunate that she didn't have as much clothes as she did back home, or this process would have taken about an hour longer than it did and altogether far too much longer than necessary.
Shortly after choosing what to wear(she decided to go the safe route and went with an outfit that didn't fall too much on either end of the spectrum), Dana arrived at the address Terry had texted her with. She was, again, pleasantly surprised to see that it was a restaurant and her stomach flipped with that same queasy feeling when she saw the boy she was coming to meet waiting by the door. And with a flower, no less. Had Terry McGinnis actually planned a date?
"Hi, Terry," she greeted him with a kiss on the cheek. Her voice was as ecstatic as she felt and she wore a smile that matched.
