It was a good choice. The demon in the back corner seemed the type. Pushy, full of himself and thinking he owned the place. He'd have lackies too, idiots with more muscle than brain. It was perfect. She was happy with the choice. Very happy. He was getting good at picking the threats. The weak ones, the idiots that would fall into line he was ignoring. The ones that were a danger. Thats who his mind fell on as a target.
"He won't see it coming, and by the time he does there won't be a thing he can do to stop you"
She couldn't have been prouder. She drank her beer and watched the bar for a moment, until at least, he asked about Castiel. About how he felt about all this. Where had that come from?
"He knows you're my priority just like Dean is his. He knows that means that when you need me I'm there"
It bothered him what they were doing, she knew it did, he didn't know her plans, didn't know what it would lead to and of course she worried he would one day feel he had to stop her but she couldn't pull back from it. Not now, not when Sam was so ready.
"Part of it will always bother him, he's an angel, I'm a demon and you're the boy with the demon blood. Thats never gonna sit well with him. But if it really bothered him he'd step in wouldn't he?"
Of course he was holding back because he loved her, and somewhere, somehow Ruby knew she was taking advantage of that. But it didn't stop her. Maybe now there wasn't anything that would.
