"What, did she set off some Petrelli alert?" Nathan muttered to himself as his sons charged into the room as well.
"YES," Monty said before tossing himself into Angela's arms to give her a quick but fierce hug, as there was something slightly more important to Monty-world to be asked. "Did you bring us anything back?"
Beside Monty, Simon reached into hug Angela and then rolled his eyes at Monty. "She didn't know she was coming back, stupid." It was said with all the matter-of-fact 'I'm older and smarter' confidence of an eldest child.
"I'm not stupid, STUPID," Monty said, then dived for Simon.
Quick on his feet, Nathan grabbed them both in his typical puppy-hang grasp, then set them on the floor near Sarah, leaning down so he was nearly eye level with them.
"Enough. No one is stupid, and the next person to call someone stupid is losing video games for a week. Now everyone out. Except you," he said, pointing to Angela as he stood back up. "You stay. You two, go find your mother. You-"
"I just got him to take a hour off, you can handle this for an hour," Sarah called over her shoulder as she waved a cheeky goodbye to Angela and herded the boys out the door.
Sighing the sigh of a man clearly tested, but also clearly loving it, Nathan watched the three leave and then looked at Angela. It had been a long time since his own introduction to this mad place – LA, not the Hyperion specifically – but at times, the normal things could be some of the most hectic.
