WHO: Jack Harkenss, The Master WHAT: Two old friends... wait, who are we kidding? Hopefully there's no death or destruction... WHERE: Around LA WHEN: Midday; 8 April. RATING: TBA STATUS: Incomplete
Several months here and Los Angeles had yet to feel like home to him. It was a city he resided in and nothing more. Sure he felt an affinity for the people here, felt the need to protect them -- but that was the need that had been ingrained in him for the past hundred years. It wasn't that the people of Los Angeles weren't special... it was just that he didn't feel connected to them.
He never thought he'd say this but he actually missed Cardiff. Maybe, if he ever managed to leave here, he'd be finally hunker down and learn Welsh as he'd been threatening for so many years.
Hands shoved deep into the pockets of his greatcoat, Jack walked the city streets like some great stalker. As much as he had argued with the woman, it pained him to discover Suzie's absence. He wondered if she'd been returned to the darkness along with Owen. It was a chilling thought.
It was just him, Gwen, and Ianto now.
Jack's eyes narrowed suddenly, catching sight of him. Well, so much for being completely alone.
