"Or fall," he quickly suggested. "We love each other. A marriage ceremony isn't going to change anything except give us a piece of paper that says in the eyes of the law, they recognize us as a couple. If you said tomorrow, I'd say ok." He gently squeezed her knee. "I'm learning to live life while you've got it."
Lindsey snorted. "Sure. You say that. At the least, it'd be hot, itchy, and a possibility of spontaneous combustion." He scratched under his chin. "Outdoors. That's doable. What are you thinking of? Garden? The beach? The park?" At least the city didn't have a lack of options in that area. "Right. I don't think we have any close friends that are sunlight challenged."
Although he could think of one that it would have been great to rub it in the face of.
"Jeans. Nice shirt. Sports coat." He shrugged. "Comfortable, casual, but appropriate." She was adorable in her excitement, the grin infectious as he listened to her. "Don't have too much fun with that now."
