"Exactly. No harm, no foul." Not that it was ever that simple but when it came to the small things in life, Lindsey didn't fight with the ones that didn't bring concern. Reb making himself comfortable on the furniture, whether it was their bed or the couch, wasn't something he was going to worry on and from the sounds of it, neither was Cathy.
He went quiet as she kissed him, eyes closing and silence falling over the apartment. Certainly better than TV any way it was put. When she pulled away, he pulled her close to kiss the tip of her nose before letting her loose.
When she said she missed him, he smiled slightly. "Good thing it's over then," he replied, moving his hand up and down her leg consolingly. "It was good. Some people are finally looking me in the eye. Guess I have to start scaring them again." The grin grew.
