He snorted, not believing that reassurance for a moment. "Yeah. He'll behave like I'll be sportin' a halo," he replied, watching the dog warily as he hopped off the couch and got into his "ready to fetch" position. Lindsey held up the duck and waved it over his head, the dog's eyes following the stuffed animal intently.
