Affecting a look of shame, Sarah hung her head a moment. "We'll make sure we ground ourselves tonight for being such horrible friends," she said as she looked back up, grinning around the straw a moment later as she sample her own.
It was good to be out and about in the city after being stuck inside her own mind for days, especially to be able to do with with Tenel Ka. Comparing today to months ago would certainly be a study in contrasts of their friendship now and their points of contention before, but it was one of the things Sarah loved so much about being here – nothing had to stay stagnant. They were all always growing, adapting to this life and to each other. The past didn't have to equal the future, and that applied to more than just people one could meet here, especially when those from a shared reality had so much past, as Tenel Ka and Jacen did.
"So what did I miss with you and Jacen while I was sleeping the day away," she said with an amused, slightly suggestive wiggle of her eyebrows. Gossiping was still a very good pasttime.
