Lisa got the feeling Alessa was a little hesitant to talk to her about this particular type of magic. That was fine. If Alessa didn't want to teach her certain things, there was nothing Lisa could do about it.
Lisa tried to keep the tremor out of her voice. She didn't want Alessa to think she was afraid. Lisa didn't want anyone to think she had a fear of anything, because she'd seen how well people responded to fear here. She had a feeling Alessa would respond to her better if she didn't show any signs of being creeped out by this. "I've seen worse things than my own blood," she said in that same low voice. Memories of the Otherworld assaulted her, and once again she held them at bay. She didn't mean to sound like a bad ass or anything, she was just not that fazed by the horrors that life could throw at her anymore. "How many types of magic are there, though?" she asked nonetheless. "Is there a type of magic that you think would suit me more?"
[ooc: I think a couple more replies, and that'll be it. That okay?]
