Alessa smiled slightly as she shook her head. "I didn't think you were, but sometimes in a place like this it's hard to tell." Alessa felt the change in mentality, and went along with it. "Yeah, maybe someday I'll tell you a little bit more about it." She wondered for a moment if talking to Lisa about this would be a good idea. After all, if not done correctly things could become ugly real fast.
Having glanced down at the book, Alessa looked up to see Lisa shuddering, but she was a little surprised when Lisa mentioned not ruling it out entirely. Voice just as low as before, Alessa said, "It's not just any kind of blood. Most of the time it has to be your own blood. Some people can look at the stuff when it's not coming from them, but when it's their own? They back out. They become scared."
