Lisa chuckled a bit at Alessa's suggestion, not knowing whether to laugh or cringe at that idea. Did she really look like the type of girl who would go for that sort of thing?
"Ah. Hell no." Lisa shuddered; the idea of dating was so repulsive to her now it was almost unreachable, especially in a place like this, where any person could disappear at any moment. And what was the point, if you used a potion? It was all artificial. Lisa had known girls stupid enough to try something like that in high school. She might have been one of them at one point, but she was wiser now, or so she hoped. She decided the best thing was to just be honest.
"I just want to learn some useful spells. You know, hold an attacker in some magical field. Set a demon on fire. That sort of thing," she admitted. Lisa hoped she didn't sound stupid, because she really did want to learn about this stuff. And who better to ask than a girl who had been surrounded by it probably during her whole life?
"Sigil magic?" she asked in response to Alessa's explanation.
"Do you have any recommendations? I wanted to see if there were any spell books or potions I could buy that might be useful. Anything that you might know would be helpful," she asked Alessa. She paused, frowning a bit as she recalled some unpleasant memories. "I've already been in Hell once, for what seemed like an eternity. I'm not afraid of what some spell might inadvertently do to me," she said seriously, knowing how conceited that might sound.
