A group of kids bustled their way out of a building ahead, laughing loudly about some unknown secret between them. Sam watched them curiously for a moment before looking back at Faith and shrugging a little. "Usually. Sort of. You don't always have to have an escort, but I'm guessing that it's not a bad thing what with you needing company and all that stuff." Who wanted to dress up and go out by themselves? That would be kind of awkward.
He grabbed her by the arm and stopped walking, turning to face her. "Let's make a deal. You go get yourself a nice dress, some shoes, and I'll take you out somewhere sometime. We can grab some food. Pretend that it's something that we do all the time while we make fun of everyone else that actually does. It'll be fun."
